APPLAUSE

During the 3rd year Musical Theatre's production of Applause, I had the role of Assistant Stage Manager. 

This role required me to work with a team of 2 other ASM's to make/collect the shows props. We split the props list into scenes and evenly split the scenes between the three of us. 

As the rehearsals went on, I became in charge of all things fabric, this meant sewing the material into curtains that covered the band for certain scenes, creating new cushion covers and reupholstering a chair. 

I was also in charge of making fake Tony Awards for the show, which meant making prototypes to see how well they with stand the movement in the show and then finding creative ways to make sure they don't break during the shows themselves.
