Recently I was the Production Electrician for a Musical called Spelling Bee, at Guildford School Of Acting (Surrey University). I was responsible for leading a team to install a new lighting rig into the Pats Studio Theatre. The fit-up ran smoothly, finishing with hours to spare. For the following few weeks, I had to design and create some set electrical items. Then during desk preparation time and the shows it was my duty to maintain and oversee the lighting and electrical systems within the theatre. Apart from a lamp replacement in a Martin Mac Viper Performance, everything went smoothly, and the show was a huge success, being sold out every night and having roaring reviews!
