Move It! 2026

The biggest dance event and convention in the UK in the biggest convention centre in London.
3 days of exploding energy made manifest by dance enthusiasts, students and professionals from all over the country and beyond.
I was stationed at one of the 3 stages in the convention: The Showcase Stage, here academies of all sorts performed in very quick succession over the duration of the event; My main responsibility was an hybrid between Assistant Stage Manager and Sound No.3: getting people on and off stage at the right time and provide them with microphones (both handheld and headsets) if requested.
The key feature of this role was the very quick turnarounds me and my team handled alongside Stage Managers from Orange Jackets, successfully maintaining the flow going for 8 Showcase slots per day.
