The Pirate Queen - Sep / Nov 2022

I was the Stage Manger for GSA's Production of The Pirate Queen. This production was much bigger than anyone first anticipated, with over 400 meters of rope, a kabuki drop used 3 time each show, flying a large sail & making it to, 10 ropes hanging from the grid that got tied around the set. we also had moving curtains and chains, flash paper and a large number of real weapons. All of this meant it was essential for me to communicate with all departments to make sure its all going to come together and it was a huge challenge but I'm so pleased with the outcome of the whole production and i have learnt so much from taking on this role.
