Company - Feb/March 2023

I was the Assistant Production Manager for GSA's Production of Company. For the pre production week, the Production Manager was off sick which gave me the opportunity to step up and lead all departments through the Get In/Fit up, Lighting Focus & Plot, Sound Time and ensuring the final touches where finished on the set and up to the standard of the set designer ( who also happened to be off sick for 3 days over this week) and for this reason communication was vital. It was also my responsibility to ensure masking was up where needed and all potential hazards were marked and made clear. All of which needed to be sorted before the band call, sitzprobe and then the placing call later in that week. I also needed to ensure Stage Management had brought all props and smaller set pieces over to the theatre. We then worked together to workout how it would all be stored. This experience gave me a lot of opportunities to problem solve, lead a team and communicate with all departments.
