Although I specialise in stage management, I possess a diverse skillset encompassing lighting, sound and costume. Alfie - LX Programmer

As the lighting programmer on Alfie, I was responsible for creating a perfect lighting sequence that matched my designers vision. I worked on an ETC Ion within the Rex Doyle Studio Theatre. Over the course of technical rehearsals I finessed cues, transitions and intensities to create a visual experience that matched the needs of the production. I broadened my skillset within this production to include lighting programming, which was a very fulfilling experience.

Greenside Venues Technical - Stage Manager

As a Technical Stage Manager for Greenside Venues at Edinburgh Fringe, I worked with a wide variety of theatre companies to ensure their show was bought to life. I assisted companies with their technical requirements including programming lighting, setting sound levels and setting their props and furniture. With tight turnarounds between performances, efficiency and teamwork was key to ensure all performances went up on time.
Head Over Heels - Wardrobe Assistant

To expand my skillset I worked as a wardrobe assistant on the musical head overhead Over Heels at Guildford School of Acting. I worked closely with the costume designer and supervisor by supporting fittings and alterations throughout the rehearsal process. I developed my sewing skills as well as my attention to detail and collaborative spirit.

Musical Theatre Showcase - Followspot Operator

I was the followspot operator on the Musical Theatre Showcase at the Royal Academy of Music, within the Susie Sainsbury Theatre. This expanded my knowledge of lighting as I assisted with the fit up and focus. During technical rehearsals I remained composed and steady as I lit each performer.

Violet - Sound .3

Within my second year at Guildford School of Acting, I gained experience as a Sound .3 on the musical Violet. Within the PATS Studio theatre, I worked with my team to assist sound fit-ups and get out's whist making notes about the production sound during rehearsals. I leanrt about the fitting and maintenance of radio mics as well as developing my knowledge of theatrical sound systems.
