Stage Management 

As Deputy Stage Manager on Grab Me a Gondola, I had the fantastic opportunity to work with such a fabulous team on an energetic and vibrant 1950’s musical. I was responsible for managing rehearsals, creating the book and accurately cuing the show, whist ensuring seamless communication between all the theatrical departments.​

Earlier this academic year, I undertook a Stage management placement at the Royal Ballet and Opera, on Fidelio. I worked within the stage management team to organise the room and run the wings, managing actors, sings and live animals. My positive working attitude and my willingness to learn fostered good team dynamics and ensured a smooth production process.​

Over Christmas, I was the Deputy Stage Manager on Jack and the Beanstalk at the Alhambra Theatre. During rehearsals I updated the script and made notes about props, costume and set and communicated these to the various departments. When calling the show I remained calm under pressure to ensure accurate timing of comedic moments and magical transformations. My precision calling and though communication between departments, created a magical show every night. ​

During summer of 2024, I was the Stage Manager on the Guildford School of Acting Junior Conservatoire production of The Addams Family. I co-pordianted meetings and managed props and set whist upholding safe working procedures. I ran technical rehearsals before managing the the backstage area.

I undertook Stage Management Placement at Creation Theatre on their summer show, treasure island. I played a key role in rehearsals, taking prop notes from the room, creating setting lists and co-ordinating scene transitions. I worked closely with the stage manger, helping source and make props. This experience challenged and developed my organisational skills and gave me valuable insight into rep and touring theatre.

In November 2-23 I had the pleasure to be an ASM on Soho Cinders at Guildford School of Acting. I managed props and set pieces in the wings and ran a fast and busy track backstage. I enjoyed working with my team to ensure the production was a success.
