About Me
My Story
I am Erika Zhu, a stage manager and production practitioner currently completing an MA in Stage and Production Management at Guildford School of Acting. My professional focus is on supporting creative teams through clear communication, practical organisation and efficient coordination across rehearsal, technical and performance environments.
My experience includes stage management and assistant stage management roles across theatre, acting showcases and musical theatre productions, including work at GSA and East 15 Acting School. I have also worked in production management contexts in Beijing, giving me an international perspective on performance-making and collaboration.
I am bilingual in English and Mandarin, and I am particularly interested in stage management, production coordination, live performance operations and cross-cultural creative work. I aim to contribute to productions with professionalism, attention to detail and a positive team-focused approach.
Erika Zhu is a bilingual stage and production management practitioner with experience across theatre, musical theatre, acting showcases and dance production.
