Lighting

Programmed through Avolites Sapphire, in V15 due to limitations of the hardware, this was a broadcast focused gig, designing and programming a rig for camera. My first time doing so and moving away from a rig that was recycled every year due to a change of location, my aim was to provide a rig that could safely provide a solid Lux level for the cameras, but also allow for eye-candy moments during stings and transitions. I prioritised space in the rig for generic key, fill and backlight, aiming to keep this tightly focussed on the candidates, opening space in the other areas for eye-candy fixtures to fill and provide depth. Despite budget and time restrictions, I was happy with how this rig turned out, especially on the broadcast over all three nights.
