Studying audio as a specialist pathway within my degree at the Guildford School of Acting, I thrive as a FOH/Monitor Engineer and Production Engineer for mid-large scale theatre and live events.

Working across the season as the Production Sound Engineer for the 2023 Autumn Season in GSA's main house, Bellairs, across 6 weeks, I handled 3 separate shows across 3 separate sound teams and 2 different sound designers.
Heading into Soho Cinders - the 2nd show of the season - I found myself handling the evolving situation of my Sound 1 being otherwise indisposed due to illness. After deliberation, it was decided that, despite having not seen any of the rehearsal process, having built the system and assisted in building the base desk state, I would take on the role of Sound 1.
After a weekend of programming, and a difficult week of tech, I opened and ran the show on a weekend's notice, leaving my sound designer, Mick Livermore. very happy with the position we ended up in.

I feel it's a credit to my abilities as a PSE, the paperwork and stability of the system primarily, that the APSE was able to assume my role with few minor issues that he handled superbly; but also a credit to my abilities behind a desk to take on the pressure of a mix the Friday before tech starts, and open the show with a very happy designer at the close of opening night on the Wednesday.
