Additional Skills
Below is a list of additionals skills I have gained during my academic and extra-curricular activities. I have a great deal of passion with learning and discovering new skills, and am always on the hunt for new hobbies to conquer!
Knitting
I am able to knit basic patterns to create garments such as scarves and jumpers. I am also a quick learner when it comes to this skill and am always looking for ways to increase my portfolio
Hand Sewing
I am able to complete a variety of stitches with hand-sewing, I am able to work efficiently on a number of fabrics and choose the correct needle to use.
Crocheting
I am able to crochet basic patterns to create garments such as cardigands and jumpers. I am also a quick learner when it comes to this skill and am always looking for ways to increase my portfolio.
Dometic Sewing Machine
I am able to use a domestic sewing machine to complete a number of stitches and alterations, I am also able to complete maintenance and do simple troubleshooting.
I currently own a Janome 4400.
Pattern Cutting
I have been trained in how to cut patterns according to a persons specific measurements allowing garments to be personalised.
Overlocker Machine
I have been trained on how to use over lockers, and am able to thread them up and do simple trouble-shooting
First Aid
I have a certificate in first aid training, after compelting a one-day course. I also have completed a GCSE in health and social care which also taught me a wide range of first aid techniques.
Sustainability
I am a part of the green captains, and have a great passion and skill for ensuring all performances are sustainable and eco-friendly

Fire Arms Trained
I have completed a day course from RC Annie and am confident in handling and managing a range of weapons.
Flying Systems
I have been trained in how to work with both hemp, and counter-wieght flying systems, having jumped in to help in certain venues.
DBS Checked
As on 2023, I am DBS checked with a basic certificate and am able to comfortably work with children and vunerable adults.
Board Operator
I am comfortable operating a number of LX and Sound boards after they have been programmed.
Manual Handling
I am fully trained in how to lift safely in accordance with Manual Handling skills and Health and Safety regulations
