About Me:

Hello, I'm Sophie, a graduate of Guildford School of Acting with BA (Hons) in Theatre Production. Throughout my 3 years at GSA, I developed a love for Stage Management and Costume and wish to explore these avenues further in professional theatre. I have grown up around theatre for as long as I can remember and so working backstage has never felt like work to me.

Stage Management:

I started out my journey as an ASM with Phoenix Youth Productions, working my way up to Stage Managing their productions for the past few years. This lead to me securing a place at Guildford School of Acting where I completed several Stage Management roles, including Assistant Stage Manager, Deputy Stage Manager, Stage Manager and Assistant Production Manager.

Costume:

I am currently working as a Casual Dresser for the New Victoria Theatre in Woking, having had the opportunity to work on various professional large scale UK Tours, including 'Top Hat', 'Waitress', 'Mean Girls' and 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'. Within these shows I have worked alongside some incredible industry professionals and continue to learn more and more with each show.

During my training I have had the opportunity undertake various roles within the costume department, such as: Dresser, Wardrobe Assistant and Assistant Costume Supervisor. By doing these roles I have found a love for the art of quick changes.
