Ollie is an experienced lighting designer and creative whose work spans broadcast, corporate, theatrical and live events. He trained at Guildford School Of Acting, where he undertook many projects both for the University and for other clients, working across many facets of production design. He began his career working in school theatre as a lighting designer and progressed to producing lighting designs for music events. Notable productions include ‘Chicago the Musical’ and ‘The Great Gig’; initially a small school band evening which Ollie elevated to a sellout music event.
THEATRICAL & LIVE EVENTS: Ollie has worked extensively in integrating lighting and rigging design for live events. He has also worked across a wide array of theatrical productions from black box studio venues on fringe style productions, to larger productions in more classical venues. Notable productions include musicals ‘9 to 5’, ‘Footloose’ and the 2025 and 2026 productions of ‘Strictly Come Surrey’, the largest student-run event in the UK, where he worked across lighting, video and set design.
CORPORATE: Ollie has worked closely with brand managers and events designers on a variety of corporate events, where he has always ensured that branding and artistic design ideas are brought to life through lighting. Notable clients include : The Rory Peck Trust, Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex and Surrey Student Union.
