Hi, I'm Olivia!
I am a 2025 GSA stage and production management graduate and early career theatre professional. Originally from Nottingham, I graduated from my degree in English Literature and Theatre studies at Warwick in 2023. Throughout my time at Warwick I held various positions including being the Warwick Drama Collective's production manager in my final year, in which I frequently organised panels to programme Warwick Drama shows in the Warwick Arts Centre and took responsibility for liaising between the five drama societies that made up the drama collective. After finishing my degree I spent a year as a SEN teaching assistant in a mainstream secondary school, helping me to develop my creative problem solving, communication and broaden my leadership skills. During my degree at GSA I have been afforded the opportunity to work as a stage manager and in the wardrobe department, developing my artistic abilities and utilising my sewing skills to bring a designers vision to life. This year I have also undertaken a placement as an ASM at Shakespeare's Globe, working on their production of Romeo and Juliet in the main house. I have a passion for new writing and am production manager of the theatre company 'Speakbeast', a group of trans artists bringing new work to queer theatre spaces and beyond. After selling out the end of our run at the Edinburgh Fringe 2024 we are excited to debut our next piece "Someone has got to be John" at the upcoming Fringe in 2025.
