BIOGRAPHY

Hello, I'm Maya, a UK based theatre technician specialising in the stage department. I am experienced in stagecraft, fit-ups and show running, and have a strong understanding of backstage practice. Some of my skills include carpentry, counterweight & performing flying, and executing complex stage plots.

 

My three years of training at GSA have provided me with a well-rounded skillset across departments. Here I undertook roles in Scenic Arts, Construction, Flys, Stage Management and Sound. For more information about my training and professional experience, check out my Portfolio.

I am based in and around London and am open to opportunities all over the UK. I enjoy learning new skills and working in a collaborative team on new and exciting productions.
