Matthew Park

Production & Project Manager

Highly collaborative and detail-driven aspiring production and project manager, dedicated to bringing complex theatrical visions to life through logistical precision and creative problem-solving.

The Journey to the Stage

My fascination with storytelling began at a young age, sparked by an early love of theatre. Growing up in Warrington, I regularly travelled to Manchester and Liverpool to watch productions, and those trips quickly became more than entertainment—they were the start of a deeper curiosity about how theatre is made. I wanted to understand the process behind the magic: how stories move from page to stage and come alive in front of an audience.

This passion shaped my educational journey, leading me to study theatre throughout school and into my undergraduate degree at the University of York, where I specialised in Theatre: Writing, Direction and Performance. There, I gained a holistic understanding of the creative process, from script development and rehearsal to performance and audience experience. During this time, I discovered a particular love for production and project management—bringing people together, shaping ideas into reality, and guiding teams through the complex journey of creating high-quality work.

I continued to develop my professional practice during my Master’s degree in Stage and Production Management at the Guildford School of Acting, where my skills and standards were refined to an industry level.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to calm, collaborative leadership. I believe that when a creative team is supported by clear communication, thoughtful planning, and a stable foundation, artistic vision can flourish without compromise. My goal is always to help deliver productions with precision, integrity, and a shared sense of pride.

Collaboration & Contact

I am always open to discussing new projects, whether it’s a large-scale commercial production, an intimate fringe show, or a complex technical tour. I invite directors, producers, and theatre organisations to get in touch to explore how we can work together to bring bold stage visions to life with precision and care.
