I am an Assistant Stage Manager and Deputy Stage Manager with bases in Ipswich and London.

My background is in singing and acting; I grew up in Suffolk and gained a BTEC National Diploma in Musical Theatre at Colchester Institute, way back in 2007, as well as Grade 5 singing, so I can read music and feel just as much passion and exhilaration for the material as the cast do when I'm stage managing productions. Theatre is the greatest joy in my life.

I am delighted to be a recent graduate of GSA, completing an MA in Stage and Production Management in Sep 2023. Soon after I was thrilled to work on panto as the ASM on Dick Whittington and His Cat at my beloved home-town theatre of the The New Wolsey, Ipswich.

I have a first class BA Hons degree in Drama with a specialism in Comedy, and gained hands-on Stage Management experience throughout my undergrad and postgrad alike. I love prop-making, prop-sourcing, show-calling, team managing, production managing and learning new skills. With project and people management experience in other sectors prior to my career change from sales back 'home' to theatre in 2018, I am thrilled to be learning the ropes...sometimes literally... and applying my management skills to the world of the backstage. Although I love plays, musicals, puppetry and comedy, I would really would love to work on as many different art forms and wide-ranging projects as possible!

I love being part of shows that have something to tell us, shows that entertain, shows that shock, shows that make us laugh, and shows that move us.

I am a proudly neurodivergent professional; theatre is for everyone, and I care deeply and actively about drama education, diversity, inclusion and representation in the arts.
