About Me

I view myself as an all-round creative from facilitation to writing and directing and have found a home in stage management.

I have a passion for prop-making, as well as assisting in the rehearsal room and calling a show. I like to get involved and I put my all into any role I undertake.
I have a great respect for the creative process and greatly value being able to be a part of it and supporting it the best I can.

I originally trained as an actor with a particular interest in improvisation and comedy. Then on my undergraduate degree in Applied Theatre I developed my theatre making skills with a focus on political theatre and theatre for young people; creating a tour aimed at getting young people to talk about their mental health with their friends post-pandemic.

I then co-produced Cutpurse Creative, working on their first production ‘Mariam’ as the Assistant Director and also running an R&D on my original play ‘Biddy: Managed Expectations’, a retelling of Dickens’s Great Expectations, which I hope to develop more in the future.

I recently undertook a placement at Shakespeare’s Globe on ‘Playing Shakespeare: Romeo & Juliet’ which was a wonderful mesh of my passions in work for young people & social change as well as a production that balanced heart & humour. Being able to see how the Stage Management team worked was a fantastic learning opportunity: I particularly learnt a lot about the importance of positivity, communication and interpersonal relationships when working on a production.
