About Me
I have been working in backstage in theatre for over 7 years. I received my undergrad in Theatre Design Technology with a focus in Stage Management from The University of North Texas during which I worked internships in Event Management, Programming and Production at a performing arts center and a children's theatre. After graduating, I was hired by Royal Caribbean International and I began working on one of the largest cruise ships in the world as Technical Stage Staff. I worked my way up through the company to Head Technical Stage Staff and most recently have completed contracts with them as their Studio Company Stage Manager. I have always been interested and eager to work in all aspects and departments of theatre to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I really enjoyed working with an international team while onboard ships and that fueled my desire to move to a new country and continue learning about theatre. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in Stage and Production Management at Guildford School of Acting and I was recently hired by The Royal Opera House as a Flys Technician where I am really excited to be continuing my career in the UK
