Other Technical Theatre Roles
Placement with Orange Jackets, 1st - 3rd May 2026
As part of the Stage Management team for Zone 4, Under Pressure, in the Southbank Centre’s 75th Anniversary celebration We Are Here, I helped bring a fast-moving immersive journey to life. Alongside 5 Stage Managers and 2 other ASMs, we coordinated the movement of 100 performers on the Royal Festival Hall stage - all while rotating audiences in and out every 15 minutes. It was a thrilling puzzle of timing and teamwork, and I loved being part of the team that made sure as many visitors as possible could step into our zone and experience such a moving piece of theatre.
Guildford School of Acting, January 2026 - February 2026
As Deputy Stage Manager for The Monster Bride at GSA, I called the show while operating sound and video effects using QLab. This was a new musical with continual script and score changes right through rehearsals, tech, and performances, so I maintained an accurate, up-to-date prompt copy and tracked every update along the way. Working closely with the director, musical director, and all the technical departments, I helped hold the production together and make sure this fast-paced new work ran smoothly every night.
Sussex Musical Theatre Society, March 2024 – February 2025
After pitching this musical with the production team back in March, I supported the production through every stage of its journey. I managed all backstage operations - coordinating rehearsals, overseeing set changes, and keeping communication flowing between cast, crew, and production team through detailed rehearsal and show reports. During performances, I led a team of 4 stagehands to deliver a smooth and professional show. I also supported the on-stage sound team with radio mics and problem-solved under pressure when key performers had microphone issues mid-show. From tech week to final curtain, I made sure the production ran efficiently from start to finish.
University Of Wyoming, December 2023 – April 2024
During my year abroad at the University of Wyoming, I took on the role of ASM for their production of Into the Woods. Working within the American stage management structure, I partnered closely with the Stage Manager to run the rehearsal room - managing breaks, recording blocking notes, and issuing daily calls and rehearsal reports. With our Stage Manager on-book for the show, I took the lead on backstage operations during the run, ensuring cast sign-ins and briefing our 3 stagehands with updated run sheets each performance. I also led pre-show fight and intimacy calls to maintain performer safety and preparedness.
