About Me
I am a developing stage manager with a background in dance and a growing specialism in technical theatre, currently studying for an MA in Stage Management at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA). I bring calm, clarity, and attention to detail to every rehearsal room, with a strong foundation in cueing, coordination, and communication.

My passion for backstage work began during my BA in Dance at Roehampton University, where I trained in contemporary dance, choreography, and performance practice. Alongside developing my performance skills in tap, ballet, modern jazz, commercial, and heels, I took a third-year module called Applied Lighting, which introduced me to the creative and technical possibilities of production. It was there I first discovered my love for stage management and working behind the scenes.

After graduating, I worked as a Graduate Technical Assistant at Roehampton University, supporting the delivery of MA and BA dance assessments and performances. I gained valuable hands-on experience in lighting, sound, and stagecraft, assisting with production setup and working closely with artists, lecturers, and technical staff.

At GSA, I’ve had the opportunity to further develop my professional practice across a variety of shows. As Deputy Stage Manager (DSM) on the BA Applied and Contemporary Theatre production of Love and Information, I was responsible for producing and maintaining the prompt book, marking blocking, running rehearsals, and calling precise cues during performances. This role sharpened my time management, documentation, and communication skills within a busy and responsive rehearsal process.

Currently, I am Stage Manager (SM) on the MA Acting production of Fanny and Alexander and the GSA Junior Conservatoire’s production of Twelfth Night, where I am overseeing rehearsal processes, coordinating departments, managing props and logistics, and leading technical rehearsals and show runs. These roles have deepened my understanding of leadership, delegation, and the importance of flexibility in live performance environments.

Outside of GSA, I was DSM for the junior production of Annie with Alexandra Dance Company in February 2025, supporting a cast of young performers through tech, dress rehearsals, and performances with a focus on cue-calling, organisation, and backstage management. I also worked as Assistant Stage Manager (ASM) on the Main Stage at Move It 2025, one of the UK’s biggest dance events, ensuring smooth transitions and technical coordination in a fast-paced, live environment.

Alongside my production work, I continue to teach part-time as a dance teacher at Alexandra Dance Company, where I guide young dancers in technique and performance.

With experience across both the creative and technical aspects of theatre, I bring empathy, structure, and a collaborative mindset to all the work I do—committed to creating supportive, efficient, and professional rehearsal and performance environments.
