About Me

Hello! I'm Fin, an enthusiastic and hard-working lighting technician based around London and West Surrey. For the past three years, I have been studying at Guildford School of Acting on their BA (Hons) Theatre Production degree and will graduate in July 2026.

My training, alongside industry experience has provided me with a wealth of knowledge that I am eager to put to use in new jobs and environments. Examples of these can be found in each of the sections of my website.

Testimonials

"Fin has worked at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre over the past 12 months and has proved to be a hard working and valued member of the show teams. Fin's can do attitude and quiet determination shows through."

- Liza Cheal, Head of Production & Technical Manager, The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford

"Fin shows great dedication and willing to make sometimes difficult design ideas come to life. They bring a sense of calm knowing the design ideas are in hand and allows the designer to focus on design knowing things are in hand safely and accurately."

- John Rainsforth, Freelance Lighting Designer

"Fin was my programmer for The Love of the Nightingale, one of two productions in the spring season [2025]. Fin’s programming skills and communication skills came on leaps and bounds during the placement and they built a good rapport with myself and took ownership of the role. The schedule meant that we had to work at pace and Fin coped very well with this and they quickly tuned in to my style of working and had a very good awareness of how I was using the rig to build the lighting design. It was a pleasure to work with Fin on the production"

- Elanor Higgins, Freelance Lighting Designer

When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy spending my free time training at the archery range or attending various archery competitions.

I also like to spend my time playing guitar, crocheting or doing ballet.
