Hi, I am Chenye Gao, a theatre Producer and Stage Manager. My career mission is to become the bridge between China & UK, to boost the exchange of great theatre pieces between two countries. I had several internship experiences in cultural and creative industries in China and was in the casting team for the first Mandarin version of Phantom of the Opera. After arriving in UK, I worked as the Executive Producer for the musical Blossoming (You Undo Me) and went to Edinburgh Fringe. I also took part in several film and theatre projects as Producer and Stage Manager. Currently, I am producing two Chinese theatre pieces, Acrobatic Swan Lake and Wing Chun, which will be performed at Sadler's Wells this summer. If you are interested to work together, get in touch.
