MAISIE NEWMAN
Director- The Unmanageable Sisters
Carys was an outstanding DSM. She is incredibly motivated, professional and an all round team player. She was consistently active and engaged, solving problems and finding solutions for the team before we were aware of them. She also brought great vibes in the space and was a joy to work with.

CHARLOTTE JOHNSON
Costume Supervisor- As You Like It
Carys worked with me as Assistant Costume Supervisor / Wardrobe Assistant on a handful of shows at GSA. She is friendly, calm under pressure, and a great hard worker - all qualities that make her a highly valuable member of the team. I was able to rely on her to support the costuming process during pre-production, and see her flourish during production weeks and performances. Any costume teams would be very lucky to have Carys with them!

LOUISE SAGE
Production Manager- The Curious
Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
I had the pleasure of working with Carys as the Stage Manager for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Guildford School of Acting. She demonstrated excellent communication skills, keeping the team informed and on track throughout the production. Carys also showed strong leadership, managing her team effectively and making sure everything ran smoothly. Carys was calm under pressure, was very clear when running the Tech, making it a collaborative and efficient atmosphere. I highly recommend Carys.

ELLIOTT SQUIRE
Designer- A Midsummer Night's Dream
Carys planned and executed the make of the donkey head for A Midsummer Night's Dream, from the begining to the end of the process. She diligently researched different methods and materials to make the headpiece, taking into consideration the weight, durability, and requirement of the design to make it and realistic as possible. The end result was very faithful to the original design, and it was a joy to see the performer gain a new sense of physicality and comedy through Carys's make. The different materials were used very effectively, and the headpiece had such a sense of life, largely due to Carys's high level of attention to detail.
