Role: Deputy Stage Manager

This MFA Acting production was my first show at GSA. As DSM I worked closely with all the different departments working on the show. My favourite aspect of this production was being in the rehearsal room and building good rapport with both my director and actors, this meant that we had smooth plotting and tech sessions.

On this production I worked in my first non stage management role at GSA, it is important to me to practice all of my skills that I have developed during my time working in theatre, so taking on this role and working with a talented crew who I could learn from made for the perfect opportunity to expand and stretch my lighting skills.
