Hi there! I'm Abi, a UK-based Stage Manager and theatre maker.

I was born to British parents living in Austria, and moved back to the UK in 2019. I come from a background of international and small-scale performance, but over the past year I have been working on adapting my skills for larger-scale performance and refining my practice in different roles within stage management.

​

As a 2022 BA Drama and Theatre Arts graduate from the University of Birmingham, I have a range of both practical and academic skills. Two major things I took away from my undergraduate course were my research and organisation skills: regarding both myself and other people. Balancing a highly rigorous academic course alongside the numerous creative projects I undertook honed my time management, delegation, and communication skills in order to achieve success in both areas.

In my time at GSA I have had the incredible opportunity to continue to refine and develop my skills on larger productions, and work with a wide range of industry professionals.

I have experience working on plays, musicals, fringe theatre, immersive theatre, outdoor theatre, and digital experiences. I believe theatre should fundamentally be a safe space for exploration, and I endeavour to foster a welcoming environment in all my workplaces.
