T24 Drama Society

During my studies at the University of Kent I was apart of T24 Drama Society, which was aimed to present around five shows per academic term, some of which were original pieces created by other members of the society. Over the four years I took part in nine productions and assisted others as a stage hand.

Here is a selection of productions that I had the privilege to develop and play a great multitude of characters.
For each of these productions I took on the responsibilities of an Assistant Stage Manager by creating and sourcing props, assisting with get ins and get outs, as well as helping with scene changes
Whilst I mostly joined as a performer, I operated as an Assistant Director for some productions, which was my first exposure to the technical and managerial side of theatre. During this position I would carry out the creative wishes of the Director and set up and maintain the rehearsal space; even leading it during sessions they were absent.
