Nene Valley Rock Festival

In late August 2024 I signed up to volunteer for five days at the Nene Valley Rock Festival after hearing that the prog rock band Nektar would be making it their final UK show destination. Once work started however, witnessing and taking part in the goings on of the behind the scenes of a music festival began to fascinate me. Over the course of this festival I worked at the gate checking tickets, ran security by the tents and performance venues, and ensuring the performers are wrist banded and ready to perform. The following festival in 2025 will be the second year I will be volunteering.
