The talents of the young NYMT company are presented within Stephen Sondheim's fractured epic fairytale with the addition of an ensemble of young campers who lead the audience through the woods as they tell the story.

Filled with dark comedy, Sondheim's musical grants the characters' wishes. But their actions' consequences lead to disastrous outcomes where the community of the kingdom must come together and sacrifices must be made. 
 

This musical was put on with company of 30 younge people and less than 3 weeks of rehearsal as part of the NYMT summer season of shows.
